Welcome to MMS Retail Solutions
Established in 1992, MMS Retail Solutions specialised in the supply and maintenance of proprietary POS solutions for the Music, Electronics and Video Rental retail sectors. MMS POS systems have been installed in over 700 retail stores throughout Australia.
A data services arm was established in 2000 to provide product data catalogues and related service to the Australian recorded music industry at both the distributor and retail levels, in latter years the data services were extended to include the consumer electronics industry.
In March 2011, under an agreement between the founding directors the POS business stream was sold by MMS allow the company to concentrate solely on the delivery of data services, facilitation and logistics under the new business banner of MMS Data.
MMS Data operates from a dedicated data centre high on a hill in the Brisbane suburb of Carina just 16 mins from the city's CBD.

01 March 2011 - After a move from Sydney and a short period
in temporary accommmodation, MMS Data moved into its new
Data Centre in the Brisbane suburb of Carina. The new data
centre is managed by Ian Ballard a long term MMS employee
well respected by both retailers and distributors in the
music, home entertainment and consumer electronics sectors.
